Pop station Star 94 has lost another night jock, Ali Mac, who left after less than a year in that slot to take a morning show hosting job in Vero Beach, Fl.

This week, she joined pop station 93.7/The Breeze (WGYL-FM), working a guy named Geoff in the mornings.

Her move happens the same week Star’s Jimmy Alexander leaves the station after 21 months during mornings. This morning is his final day. (Details of that change here.)

Ali spent more than three years at Star, doing traffic during mornings for a bulk of that time. Star has been through many night jocks over the past decade: Nudge (2004-2008. Remember “Hot mom check in… what, what?”), Darik Kristofer (2008-2011) and former Dave FM jock Tim Orff (2011-2013). Then for a brief moment, Sari Rose (formerly of Kicks 101.5) took the gig but left after only a few months.

Her bio on Star before the station took it down (it’s still cached on Google):

Ali is a Georgia native who grew up in Gwinnett County and after a few radio journeys outside of Atlanta came back to Star 94 to anchor our Real Time Traffic reports for a few years before taking over Star 94 Nights. When she’s not hiking or listening to her favorite bands like Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Ellie Goulding, or Backstreet Boys, Ali is taking care of the loves of her life, Teddy: a Chihuahua/Beagle and Nora: a Shitzu/Pekinese.
